Beverly Hills Chihuahua

The Dogs take over the show in Walt Disney Pictures, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, as the pampered pooch gets caught up in a “ruff”-and-tumble comedy adventure. Good things do come in small packages as proven by a diamond-clad, bootie-wearing Beverly Hills beauty.
Our main character of Chihuahua is Chloe (voiced by Drew Barrymore). Chloe is a pampered white Chihuahua who is used to traveling around town clothed, accessorized, and in stylish designer bags. Chloe's owner, Vivian (Jamie Lee Curtis, also sporting white hair), is a successful cosmetics entrepreneur. She has to go away on a business trip, but due to dog nanny giving birth, she is forced to leave Chloe with Rachel (Piper Perabo), Viv's irresponsible adult daughter. The next morning, Rachel and two of her friends decide to take a spontaneous little vacation to Mexico.
Due partially to neglect and being hungry, Chloe sneaks off into the night and is swiftly dog napped and brought into an illicit Mexico City dog-fighting ring. Narrowly escaping, the Chihuahua is soon declared missing. Those hoping to find her, include Chloe, the family's Latino landscaper, Sam (Manolo Cardona), his spunky, Chihuahua Papi (voiced by George Lopez), local law enforcement, and the ransom-seeking dogfighters (who, like all Disney film criminals, are largely outwitted.) Chloe has an ally in Delgado (voiced by Andy Garcia), a weary German Shepherd with a mysterious past. Together, they try to reunite her with her Beverly Hills’ owner. Also encountered along the way, are a con man pack rat named Manuel (Cheech Marin) and his more rational lizard partner, Chico (Paul Rodriguez), who chase after the diamond collar and make some really hilarious scenes.
Now that we have given you a brief overview of movies, we have gone to our 9-year-old child reporter, Tiffany, to get her opinion of Beverly Hills Chihuahua. She was entertained from the beginning. and found that the beginning when Chloe was shopping for many outfits to be her favorite part; however, the funniest part for her was when Chloe tried to wake Rachel up in the morning and was flung off the bed, our 9-year-old had no problem keeping track of what was going on during the film.
When asked what was different from theatre to Blu-ray version, the reply I can watch it with Max, our Yorkie Terrier, who had laid next to her for the whole movie -- almost seeming just as entertained and into it. As for the extra features, the bloopers were most enjoyed of the 4 items.
So, as a whole, this family gives this Chihuahua a 4-star review.
