There is also an exclusive Bonus Feature that takes you behind the scenes for “Miley’s Makeover: Hannah Gets A New Look.” Country gal, Miley Stewart, tries to keep it real while the “other side” of her -- everyone’s favorite pop sensation, Hannah Montana -- leads a totally glamorous life with stylin’ clothes, famous pals, and awesome celebrity perks. While she is thinking about using her secret Hannah identity to build her Hollywood career, get her driver’s license, and win the hearts of the cutest boys like hottie Johnny Collins (Corbin Bleu), Mileymanages to land herself in the spotlight and in hilarious situations again and again! But through it all, she learns that what is most important is to be yourself --whoever you are!
The Test of My Love" (from Season 2). At a charity announcement of a new playground at the Malibu beach where they all hang out, Miley falls head-over-heals for a young man. Making small talk, she trashes the snobby gentlemen who is making a speech about the playground that will bear his name, only to find out that the boy she likes is the man's son. Even after this he asks her out, and what Miley endures while trying to have a relationship with him, goes above and beyond the call of duty. When the boy’s parents find out she is from Tennessee, they make fun of her the rest of the evening. It all comes to a hilarous end when they call her bluff about living in England and want to meet her sophisticated father and brother. Bobby Ray and Jackson snobbery will have you in stitches.
Don't Stop Til You Get the Phone" (from Season 2). Despite her fame and fortune, Miley does not get everything she wants, and Dad still has rules and limitations. He refuses to buy her the latest Z phone she wants; Miley and her friend learn a lesson from a paparazzi photographer. You can get a lot of money for an embarrassing shot of a celebrity, so they try to fake a shot of Hannah Montana – then she can buy her own Z phone? All seems well and the sale is made to a sleazy tabloid, until Lilly realizes that the new necklace bought by Miley ("Miley") shows up in the photo and reveals her true identity. One misstep leads to another, and she makes a deal with the editor to provide an even more embarrassing photo of The Rock (who cameos) in order to get her photo back. What they do to The Rock makes this hilarious, and what the rock does to the editor is funny as can be.
We're All on This Date Together" (from Season 2) features "High School Musical" star, Corbin Bleu, as a boy whom Miley had a crush on in school but who ignored her. Now she is Hannah, and he is bidding on her at a date auction. The problem is, Rico is also bidding on Hannah, and the auctioneer asks if Hannah would go on a double date with both bidders to double the amount of money for the charity. Since Johnny (Bleu) agrees, she has no choice. Naturally, the date turns out to be a disaster, because Miley's way of handling things backfires. Some funny moments.
Yet Another Side of Me" (from Season 2) finds Miley worried that her Hannah persona and music isn't edgy enough so she takes the advice of others that she has to reinvent herself in order to maintain a freshness and audience. This has her dreaming of many styles that will get a good life Miley as half doollar and her devo spoof clip is full of chuckles.
Ready, Set, Don't Drive" (from Season 3) This is the bonus episode. Miley has been failing her driving exams, and must wait to retake it. But she gets the idea to use her Hannah identity to retake the test, and pass with a little concert ticket bribery because she's Hannah Montana -- only to have the plan backfire, when she gets pulled over -- as Miley, well you can imagine from there on what happens!
DVD also features guest stars like Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) and Dwayne Johnson (Race to Witch Mountain), as well as an exclusive Bonus Feature that takes you behind the scenes for "Miley’s Makeover: Hannah Gets A New Look."
This is a great DVD for Hannah Montana fans, and it has some of the best episodes on it. We sure loved watching it, and the bonus about Miley’s new look is fun to watch.
Hannah Montana Keeping It Real has a nice layout and design to the menu screens. We found it was easy to navigate through the various screens. The Disney Fastplay is also a nice feature that has become standard. We enjoyed watching these episodes, and look forward to seeing an entire season of the show.
