Disney and Pixar is reported to be making a movie based on the classic novel, "Don Quixote". The new film, "Up", will be released on June 12, 2009. Pete Docter, of Monster's Inc. fame, will be directing.
"Don Quixote" followed the tale of a man who has read so many books and stories that he becomes certain that he is a knight, and along with a friend of his, Sancho Panza, goes off and lives out many adventures, including fighting giants, which in reality, are only windmills.
Disney is said to have wanted to make a "Don Quixote" animated film for some 60 years, but the sporadic style of the story had deterred them.
