Disney World's Space Mountain Closes For Refurbishment

Space Mountain, the classic roller coaster ride in Walt Disney World, closed yesterday for renovations.
Included in the rehab will be a new track, new ceilings and improvements to the queue area. The track modifications will be strictly cosmetic; no change in the course of the track will be made.
While no date has been given for when the ride will reopen, the renovations will take several months to complete.
