The Walt Disney Company has announced that they will be developing a new subscription based website; one that offers movies, TV shows, video games and more.
Bob Iger, Disney CEO, said, "People are willing to pay for what they perceive to be value. We think there's a lot of head room in being able to charge for product on the Web."
Disney already offers subscription based media on their website, such as Toontown, Pixie Hollow and Club Penguin.
The company has also recently joined forces with Hulu because he said they need to "aggregate more content with more brands" and that they felt it would be wise for us to join (Hulu) and not only compete."
There is no word yet on when the new site would be launched.
