Disney's two floating theme parks are like no other ships in the industry. Mellow, even elegant interiors allow the
line's impressive innovations in dining, entertainment, kids' facilities, and cabin design to take center stage.
If you love Disney, you'll love these ships.
Currently Disney has two ships in their fleet, The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. These ships are designed with an art-deco style reminiscent of the great luxury liners of the early 1900s. Both ships boast a handful of truly innovative, Disney-style features, including a rotating series of restaurants on every cruise, cabins designed for families, Disney-inspired entertainment, and the biggest kids' facilities at sea. It's innovations like these that set Disney's cruises far apart from it's peers.
Built by the Fincantieri shipyards in Italy, the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder represent Disney's first entry into the cruise business. The ships are identinical with the exception theming, decor & restaurants. Each liner can hold up to 2400 passengers in 877 staterooms.
The ship is home to more than 900 crew members representing more than 20 nations around
the world. On board guests will find 4 themed restaurants, an adult entertainment district,
a live Broadway style theatre venue, a movie theatre, 3 pools, a 9,000 square foot Spa center,
more than 15,000 square feet of children's entertainment areas,
5,500 square feet of retail stores, and much more.
The staterooms on board the Disney Cruise Line vessels are approximately 25% larger than the industry standard, with more than 70% of the staterooms having either an ocean view porthole, or an open air verandah.

Really, the Disney Cruise Line would get 5,000 stars from me! Cruising with Disney does make for the most amazing vacation ever! It's true! Every morning a 'Daily Navigator' is delivered to your door. This is an hour-by-hour spreadsheet (of course in Disney style it's all themed and nice looking) of activities for families, adults, and kids of all ages (grouped by age) - you sit down with your family and pick all that want to do! The children's programming is SOOOOOO much more than babysitting. It's also very secure; your children have indestructible ID bands, and you need a room key AND secret password to take your own children out of their area. These areas are separate based on children's ages. The kids have PJ parties with Goofy, visits from Peter Pan, science experiments to make Flubber, go on Heffalump hunts, and much, MUCH more. They are fed, given a place to rest, have computers to play on, and do occasionally watch movies. Parents are given a pager when you get on the ship that you keep for the duration of your cruise. We would get text messages that our children wanted their PJ's to stay and play - NOT to get picked up!!! They loved it! Unlike our trips to DW, we had some rare moments to actually relax, read a book, go for a walk, see a show, go to a comedy show, and more. We love going to DW and sharing fun times with our family together, but as a stay-at-home mom, the cruise was a real treat - full of relaxation AND happy memories made together as a family. I would go again in a heartbeat! Everyone in our family enjoyed it and has fond memories of the trip of a lifetime! At the end of the cruise, the children's programming even puts on a 'graduation' type ceremony, complete with mortar boards with Mickey ears, featuring all the children on the big stage with Mickey and Minnie too! They got the cutest 'DCU' shirts too (Disney Cruise University) that they treasure! I can't say enough positive things about a Disney Cruise vacation. Anyone with or without children should go if they can. They even have adult-only areas of the ship, including a pool, cafe, and fancy restaurant too. The entertainment is Broadway-quality. Just go!!!

The Disney Cruise Line is great! It is like some of the most fun I have had in my life. They have everything worked out just right. I loved the excursions we took like on a submarine and swimming with stingrays. Plus the ship is the most beautiful ship on the seas. It isn't like one of those giant floating white boxes you see that they call cruise ships. You have great service and the same waiters serve you every night so you become great friends. We have had three awesome servers over the two times we have gone on the Disney Cruise Line Orlan, Roger, and Ever Lee and other great cast on the ship like Ike who cleaned our room. There are also tons of things to do you could never get bored. There are places for kids only, teens only, and adults only! These are only a few things off of a huge list of great things about DCL. It is the best!

Unbelievable...the most amazing trip we have ever been on. We did the 3 day cruise, and the weather was perfect. The dinners, were great, my wife and 2 daughter (4 and 7) loved everthing we ate. We especially loved the animators Palate...what an incredible atmosphere. The kids loved playing in the Oceaneers club...we couldn't get them out! The best moment came on Castaway Cay...what a stunning beach....the most unforgettable trip ever. The cruise will now become an annual event for our family!
