Located a little over an hour from the Walt Disney World Resort, Port Canaveral is the home of the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder. The magnificent Port Terminal, constructed exclusively for Disney Cruise Line, features the classic art-deco style of the '30s and '40s.
Directions to the Port Terminal
From the Walt Disney World Resort: Take State Road 536 East which leads directly to the 417 (Greenway). Follow 417 to State Road 528 (Beeline Expressway). Go east on State Road 528. When you come to a fork in the road, veer right to stay on State Road 528. Continue on State Road 528 over the Indian River and the Banana River. Turn right onto State Road 401 which will loop and head north over the channel locks. Stay in the right-hand lane and follow the directional signs to Cruise Terminal A.
From North Florida: From I-95 South, take Exit #205 for State 528 East (Beeline Expressway). Note that you will pass the Westbound 528 exit for Orlando International Airport a few miles prior to Exit #205. Continue over the Indian River and the Banana River. Turn right onto State Road 401 which will loop and head north over the channel locks. Stay in the right-hand lane and follow the directional signs to Cruise Terminal A.
From South Florida: From I-95 North, take Exit# 205 East. Continue over the Indian River and the Banana River. Turn right onto State Road 401 which will loop and head north over the channel locks. Stay in the right-hand lane and follow the directional signs to Cruise Terminal A.
Parking at the Port Terminal
For those Guests not arriving by motor coach, parking is available at the Port Terminal for $10.00 per day. Visa, MasterCard and cash are accepted. Parking is managed by the Canaveral Port Authority, and rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Check-In At The Port Terminal
If you began your Disney Cruise Line vacation package at the Walt Disney World Resort, and you are a U.S. citizen who has completed the required check-in process, there's no need to check-in at the port terminal. You may proceed to the ship's entrance located at the end of the terminal. Your luggage will be delivered directly to your stateroom onboard.
If you've not yet checked in for your Disney Cruise Line vacation, you'll be directed to the check-in area at the port terminal. At check-in, you'll need to present the required documentation and/or proof of citizenship for each member of your party.
To expedite your check-in process, please ensure your required documents are completed before approaching the desk.
Once you check in at the port terminal, each member of your party will receive a Key to the World card.
At check-in, you can also request the quick and easy "Express Check-Out." "Express Check-Out is available with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner's Club, and The Disney Credit Card.
An itemized receipt for any incidentals will be delivered to your stateroom on disembarkation day. You won't need to stop at Guest Services before disembarking. Although Disney knows you will want to share your cruise embarkation with your friends and family, visitors are not permitted in the Disney Cruise Line terminal or on board the Disney ships.
