Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Overview

Experience six brightly colored "island villages" with the ambiance of the tropics. Each village has its own heated quiet pool plus a white-sand beach on the shores of a shimmering lake. This Moderate Resort offers one full-service restaurant, plus other dining options. Most rooms comfortably accommodate four people.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Hidden Mickeys

In Old Port Royale, there is a restaurant called Bridgetown Broiler. There are with black cast iron frying pans hanging behind the counter. Three of them form a Hidden Mickey! One large one in the middle and two smaller ones on either side of it.
In Old Port Royal, there is a mural of a sunken ship with Ariel and flounder in it. There are at least 8 hidden Mickeys.

My family of four stayed at CBR from the end of Sept. through the first week in Oct. 2006. We absolutely loved it. Beautiful, quiet paths to our room, quiet pools and spacious rooms. My 9 year old daughter loved looking for the lizards outside on the grounds. We stayed in Barbados and it was a very nice stroll to the food court. We rode the bus every day and never moved our car until we checked out to leave. The staff was very nice and the Mousekeeping was great. They left us towel animals every day. The only thing I would say was a negative was the line for checking in. We got there about half past noon and it took almost an hour, maybe a little more. I would recommend CBR for families or couples. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at the Caribbean Resort on 8/11/07, and found it to be just as wonderful as the first time we stayed there. We checked in around noon, and our room was ready. Although we had a deep discounted rate, they put us in a lake view room. This was very cool, as when we looked out our window, it was if we were looking at a smooth ocean in the Caribbean. The room was colorful and clean. The building was nestled in a very tropical setting with palm trees and other growth everywhere. What I really liked about the Caribbean resort is its quietness. That fact made for a very nice experience. Since we had stayed there before, we knew that we would have a hike to the food court, so that was really not an inconvenience for us, as we also had a car. The rooms are slightly larger that the other moderates, but otherwise, pretty much the same layouts. There are plenty of landscaped walkways, as well as a bridge over the lake to the food court area. We did not use Disney transportation, so I really can’t comment on its’ effectiveness. I would stay there again in the future. Note that this resort is very spread out, and that having a car can be a big plus.

We recently stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort and we couldn't fault it in any way. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked to go again next year. We stayed in the Barbados area and we have requested to stay in that area next year. Keep up the good work, Disney team!
