Disney's Typhoon Lagoon
Dive into an exotic, tropical paradise where families can escape to high waves of excitement and cool, relaxing fun. The fun takes place at the foot of Mount Mayday. Body surf in a 2.75-million-gallon wave pool. Zip down awesome body slides. Feeling brave? You can even swim with real, live sharks!
Typhoon Lagoon Overview
Typhoon Lagoon features a numerous body slides, a inner tube creek ride
that runs the perimeter of the park, and the big Wave Pool .
Every few minutes this pool itself generates 6 foot waves
and everything in it's. Guests are invited to put on a scuba mask,
and see various tropical fish and plant life, and sharks.
Typhoon Lagoon Attractions
- Three enclosed speed slides shoot you through rocky caverns at 30 mph! Humunga Kowabunga!
- Swish and swirl through caves and tunnels as you race down one of three different body slides. Be careful of the drop 36-foot drop into bubbling pools below!
- A family white-water rafting adventure down rapids and rock formations.
- Zip through caves and waterfalls on this white-water rafting adventure.
- Travel down the "soft foam" slides on this white-water rafting adventure.
- 2100 foot continuous relaxing river raft ride through the entire park.
- It's a water slide specifically designed for young ones. These beginner slides will send toddlers down a gentle slope that ends in a big splash into a secluded corner of the surf pool.
- The tropical fun doesn't stop for the little ones. Treat them to slides, geysers, and fountains especially for children ages 2 to 5 and their parents.
- Snorkel through a coral reef teeming with colorful tropical fish and real, live sharks.
- One of the world's largest inland wave pools. Relax by a true blue lagoon and a white sandy beach, or enter the pool with waves up to six feet tall.

The lazy river ride is nice though.
The wave pool is always crowded and not the type of waves you can catch.
