Fantasmic!, which opened in 1996, is a spectacular nighttime show that features pyrotechnics, laser lights, and film clips, and is projected on to "screens" of mist. While set against these stunning visuals, the show also features classic Disney songs playing along in the background.
The story of Fantasmic! Set in a dream of Mickey Mouse, featuring all of your favorite Disney characters from films such as Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Aladdin, Pinocchio, The Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Tarzan. Mickey's dream turns into a nightmare, however, when the Maleficent shows up with fellow villains -- Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Scar, Frollo, and Jafar. They try to take over his dream, but Mickey fights them off with the power of his imagination.
Fantasmic! is shown on select nights in Disney's Hollywood Studios, at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater. The show is a breathtaking 25 minutes long, with no break in the action. An absolute can't miss attraction for the whole family!

Fantasmic! is one of the best shows I have ever seen at a Disney World theme park. This spectacle is a combination of music, lights, fireworks, water, and other special effects that tell the amazing story of Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Guests of the show experience a magical show with a lot of their favorite characters displayed as well as musical numbers that reflect the spirit of these characters. This show is usually the last spectacle at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios and takes place in the Fantasmic! Theater. The family will love this spectacular performance and they will definitely love how amazing the fireworks, water jets and lighting is matched up to the music so well. Well worth the wait.

An awesome night show that only Disney can pull off. Another must see.
