Toy Story Mania Overview

Located in Disney Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Mania! opened up in June of 2008. It is home to the lovable characters of the enormously successful Toy Story films.
The attraction features a number of different games for you to play.
The Carnival atmosphere queue is full of large scale models of classic kids toys and eventually you get to the giant Mr. Potato head, who entertains you while you wait.
The games on this rider are "Pie Throw Practice Booth"; "Hamm & Eggs", an egg throwing game; "Bo Peep's Baaa-loon Pop" a dart throwing game; "Green Army Men Shoot Camp", a baseball throwing and plate breaking game; "Buzz Lightyear's Flying Tossers", a ring toss game; and last but not least : "Woody's Rootin' Tootin' Shootin' Gallery", a suction cup shooting game.
You use an pull-gun to "throw" objects at the screen to earn points. The points are then displayed upon the screen. At the end of the ride, high scores are displayed.
The ride is located in Disney Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World Resort as well as Disney's California Adventure.

Todd and Sandy, Cincinnati, OH, USAWe rode this attraction this past weekend (8/3), and, well, it was fun. However, in my opinion, it wasn't what is was all cracked up to be. Once seated, you put on your 3D glasses, and off you go! You stop at various "stations" and blast away. The "blasting" or "shooting" is done by yanking a draw cord as fast as you can, so you can hit as many targets as possible. I relate it to a shooting gallery, which essentially is what it is. Like Buzz Lightyear's Spin, you go for high score. If your arm or wrist is worn down by the end, you can get in line and go again! That's right, you can get in line, wait 90 to 120 minutes, unless you have a fastpass and go again. This ride is super popular! It's fun, it's original, the theming and atmosphere are fantastic; you leave wanting to go and watch Toy Story and Toy Story 2! Is it worth the wait? Only if you have never been on it. Otherwise, Fastpass it, or pass it. Note that I gave this ride a "3", because overall it's average. However, it would rank a "5" in atmosphere, and originality. It's fun for all ages, but may be too much "work" for some. Try it and send in a review!
