Rare Disney Items up For Auction on eBay This Week

Walt Disney Lifesize Wax Musesum Disney Statue (Item #390149013934). This actual Hand Carved Wax Figure of Walt Disney was created by award winning Disney Artist/Designer Pete Carsillo who has worked with Disney Legend Blain Gibson on the Minnie Mouse Statue with Roy Disney that is on Main Street at Walt Disney World and many famous attractions and celebrity models. 

Walt Stands at 5 Feet 11 Inches to the top of his hair line and 5 Feet 10 Inches to the top of scalp. He is dressed in a full suit with a Smoke Tree Ranch Neck Tie. The Smoke Tree Ranch was Walt's favorite resort outside of Palm Springs, same tie worn on the "Partners" Statue at the hub at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland. Wax figures do require moderate Temperature typical of air condition environment.

The next item up for sale is a Disney 1971 Polynesian Contemporary Room Art Map Sign (Item #370326822287).  This is the holy grail of Disney Collectibles as there is very few that survived when they were removed from the original rooms at Polynesian and Contemporary Resort. Since they were secured with a glue they had to pull it off the wall and most broke and they estimate less than 10 made it out in good condition. There is currently one offered on eBay now at 1 Million dollars, and I only know of one other that has sold for over $100,000 on eBay but we are offering it at a much lower price than imaginable as we want this to go to someone that will appreciate the history and true value of this map. 

The map measures 5 Feet long by 4 Feet Tall. Map includes the Original Resorts of Polynesian and Contemporary Phase 2 Resorts (Venetian, Persian and Asian) that were never built. Includes all land from the Magic Kingdom down to the Parking lot and from the Golf Resort and Golf Courses to Bay lake, Treasure Island (later to become Discovery Island) and Fort Wilderness. Includes details such as the STOL port, Western River Expedition that became Big Thunder Mountain, 20,000 leagues under the sea, The Train and countless others. Note though, No Space Mountain, but Big Thunder was already drawn but not created at the time. There is even an airport runway with plane featured.
