Kara, USAWell, my family went to DisneyWorld last June of 2005 for 6 days, and we got updated to the Coronado Springs Resort. It is very clean, the staff is very nice, and I felt like v.i.p. when I was there, because there are trams (like long golf carts), that actually take you to your room! And they were always there when you needed them. The Pool w/ the jaguar slide was SO much fun, and the whole mexicam- theme of the resort was very entertaining. I really loved how there were bus stops that took to you to any of the 4 DisneyWorld parks. I loved walking around at night, (when all the parks were closed), and the bridge that crosses over the water in the resort was very romantic. I also love the little "beach" you guys have there, and the lounge chairs as well, although we didn't lounge around that much, we were straight-on checking out all of the parks. Well, the music that is played at night is also very nice. The restaurant and the Panchito's gift shop was very nice as well. I love you guys! Keep up the good work and we WILL be back at Disneyworld very soon!

Tara, East Lyme, CT. USAWe just returned from a week at the world. We originally stayed at the all star music resort and ended up switching to Coronado Springs. This hotel was just what we were looking for. The air was perfumed with Gardenia's. As you walked around the resort spanish guitar music was playing. Very relaxing. The food at pepper market was pretty good. Because this resort caters more towards a business enviroment there are not as many families with small children. We never had to wait or stand on a bus. Which was helpful seeing as we had a 14 month old with us. If you want a quieter experience with excellent guest service, great transportation this is the place for you!!

Warren, Lower Darwen, UKThis hotel is fantastic. Loved it! We where always greeted with a smile by everyone and we even got a room with a lake view. The view is fabulous. This hotel is so clean and colourful. Even when I was checking out and about to go and check in at the grand floridian concierge block I was still upset when leaving. You can now even see the top of expedition everest from the resort. The pepper market had a huge selection of food. Not expensive at all! They do add 10% service charge but it is totally worth it. I'm sure we didn't get this charge when we took some food back to our room one night. Francisco's bar is really nice, and has really nice chatty staff. I would definately stay here again. Also I visited the Port Orleans hotel (French Quarter), wasn't impressed at all with anything. Might be better at the Riverside though.

John Dunning, Amsterdam, NetherlandsI stayed at the CSR in April 2006. The rooms were nice and clean and the chambermaids provided and excellent and friendly service. The restaurants at the hotel provided a wonderful experience, the amenities were great and the buses to the parks were regular and relaible and matched what I would expect of a Disney vacation.
Now for the negatives
- reception
perhaps Disney should be offering fast pass tickets for CSR reception as my experiences were lines of up to 20 people waiting to be dealt with by no more than 3 staff (until a complaint was made)
My own experience of reception was at 12 midnight after travelling for 18 hours and being left to carry all my luggage because there were no porters and then being watched by a disinterested receptionist as we proceeded to carry our luggage the wrong way around the lake making the trip to our room some three quarters of a mile rather than 200 yards.
- room service
this left much to be desired and calling room service for breakfast was generally greeted with an unfriendly reception as if the person taking the call had been forced to get out of bed just to answer our breakfast call. More often than not there were language problems as the staff did not appear to speak English (or couldn't be bothered) and it took me fifteen minutes to include a bottle of water in my room service order because the person taking the order "did not understand" what a bottle of water was.
In the end we gave up on room service and started stocking up on our own food
- The management
The management were all too happy to apologise for bad service and make promises of things that would happen to correct it - but unfortunately the promises never came to fruition
- Hotel Airline Check-in
I was thoroughly disappointed to find queues of people waiting for the airline check-in service at the hotel whilst 4 staff stood and chatted to each other instead of serving customers and one member of staff continually complained about how he did not want to be there.
The chaos that followed for people who had checked in as bags got lost, misplaced or given to the wrong customers within 10 minutes of them being processed would have been laughable were it not so distressing for the people whose bags had been mishandled.
Oh, and don't complain if you don't want to be jeered at!
All in all, Disney is great, the parks are great, the transport is great, the rides are awesome, the restaurants are expensive but very pleasant. In fact, the only thing that let's the side down is the administration at CSR. What a shame for Disney to have it's reputation ruined by a handful of staff who can't be bothered.

Maddy, NH, USAMy first trip to disney world was when i was 12. I went in April, one of the busiest times of the year at disney world. despite that, i had a magical time because i stayed at the coronado springs hotel. between the atmosphere, the food, and the duck feeding i had a great time. I would recomend the coronado springs hotel to anyone who would like to relax on their vacation and still feel the magic.

Gayle, N. Lauderdale,FL, USAJust returned from one of the worst hotel experiences, I have ever
experienced. Was here 11/23/04 to 11/28/04. Had two rooms, upon checking in found that in one room there was an inch of greenish-black mold under the lip of the toilet bowl and there was one bar of soap for both the sink and the shower, also no shampoo and short towels. In the other room short on towels, soap, but there was a bottle of shampoo. There was another extra with this room also, dried toothpaste all over the counter next to the sink and some earrings and a spilt bottle of alcohol. The attitude of housekeeping was that they were doing us a favor by doing what should have been done as part of their regular daily cleaning.
On to the Pepper Tree Marketplace, food is extremely overpriced
even by Disney standards. Also if you by the refillable mugs, you
can only get soft drinks or coffee. Hot chocolate and Iced Tea are not included and you will be charged $1.99 for each even in your
refillable mug.
Will not stay here again.

Evil Step-Mother, Norwich, CT, USAAfter reading some negative reviews, I was nervous about staying here, but we went for it anyway. In a nutshell... we absolutely loved it. The food at the Peppermarket was great, and you don't have to pay a gratuity if you get take out. We did that most of our trip and ate it at our room. The resort is huge, which makes for a quiet, serene setting. This seemed to be a problem for people as far as the walk was concerned. We were located in Ranchos 6B which is the farthest from El Centro, and I'll tell ya', I wouldn't have it any other way. The walk and scenery was beautiful. The maid service was great. It's not easy picking up after 4 kids, but they managed just fine. Bus service was convenient. No wait longer than about 7 minutes or so. After such a beautiful vacation here, I realized that most of the complaints that I heard when we were there were from people who were just plain- SPOILED! HAVE A LITTLE PATIENCE! I swear that some people feel as though the world revolves around them. Remember that there are alot of people staying at these resorts, so sometimes you can't always get exactly what you want- at least not right away, anyway. We're staying at Port Orleans- Riverside next time, and we hope it is just as beautiful as CSR. Please- See this one for yourself, and be patient if something doesn't go exactly as planned.

Nick, New York, USAOk, DONT LET ANY ONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS RESORT!!Experence it you're self! I've saw that most of the reviews on this resort have been negative. Do not let them fool you. I just got back from this resort and it was the best resort that I have been to in Disney. They have the most beautiful scenery and fountains. The main theme is mexican and this is a must see resort. The thing about stuff under the bed, ok who the heck in this world is going to spend more time than needed cleaning under the beds, when they have 100's of rooms to clean. Remember a vaccuum does not fit under a bed quite easily!! If you find somethign under you're bed jsut pick it up, God. The food is excellent and if you are looking for a great breakfast buffet than go to the mayan grill. They have tons of good food for not only breakfast but dinner also. The prices for dinner though are very high. The pepper market is great. Do not let anyone tell you other wise. Form you're own opinion. The only downside is that, this is there food court. The tip is also included on the bill. So dont! leave one at the table. I've found that older reviews are more negative than current ones so that is probably the reason why. This is a must see resort, we loved it, and will go back again as soon as possible. Oh yeah. we stayed in the casitas and it was excellent. Be carefull when choising a section. The more positve reviews were on the cabanas and the casitas. I personally wouldnt stay at the ranchos, But this is only my opinion. The ranchos mostly had bad reviews. And when reading reviews make sure you look at the date. More recent reviews are more positive than the past ones. Also about the buisness thing. Yes this is Disney's most popular resort for buisness people. It should be. They offer a whole seperate 2 floor building for convention centers. It is amazing. Their aren't that many buisness people walking around it is a family place to. The thing about the kids and teenagers is not true, there are few teenagers by them self. People are very friendly, and their are many kids. Like i said it is a family resort.

Pamela, Boca Raton, FL, USAI have read several reviews of Coronado Springs on this and other web sites and have to say that I can't believe people don't like this resort. I have stayed at all of the other Moderate priced resorts yet keep coming back to CS because it is by far the best. First, the food court is wonderful, providing a wide variety of choices so everyone in your party can find something they like. Most of the other resot food courts (including some of the deluxe ones) are small and limited in choice. Yes you have a 10% gratuity added but someone busses your table, gets your drinks, refills, and other things you might need during the course of your meal. In the evening there is even a Mariachi Band that plays -- nto found at any other moderate resort.
Second the grounds of CS are beautiful, elegant even. Late evening strolls, when the fountains are lit and the music is playing are perhaps the most relaxing times of the trip. The feature pool is larger by far and, according to my daughter, has the best water slide. With the playground just off to the side of the pool it is very convenient. Also, the pool snack bar offers food not just snacks.
Finally, the rooms, while not as large as Carribean Beach, are what one would expect in a moderate priced resort. I have never had a problem with housekeeping -- in fact I have found that housekeeping goes out of its way. I have returned to the room to find all of my daughters stuffed friends lined up waiting for her, or the bed made with a friend all tucked in. I have never had a day go by without my room being cleaned.
In all I have stayed at CS about 20 times, CB about 3 times, PORiverside and French Quarter about 5 times and while I have had bad experiences at the other resorts I have never had one at CS.

Magical Mountain Staff ReviewI was very disappointed with this Walt Disney World Resort property. The rooms are comparable with the other middle tier resorts (i.e. Caribbean Beach, Port Orleans). However, guest services and the food service were horrible! Disney?s Coronado Springs Resort does not have the typical food court service available at most value and middle tier resorts. The only food service available is sit down service at the Pepper Market for which they will ad 10% gratuity to your bill for serving you your drinks. The food is also especially expensive, even by Disney standards. This resort also seemed to lack the typical Disney magic attributed to most of the other Disney resorts. I would recommend staying at either Port Orleans or Caribbean Beach before ever staying at this resort. --
