Todd Murphy, Cincinnati, OH, USAAmong all the DVC resorts, I think that the Beach Club Villas are overall the best. Parking is closer than that of the others, except OKW. Like BWV, it's close to 2 parks (EPCOT and the Studios), and like BWV it's within walking distance to 6 other resorts (BWV, BWI, Swan, Dolphin, Yacht and Beach club). It's also got access to the best pool (Stormalong Bay). Among all the on property DVC resorts, (and they are all great), the Beach Club Villas are tops on my list, and thus you cannot go wrong staying there!

A. West, Sicklerville, NJ, USAMy family & I just returned from a 10 day stay ato BCV. We are new members to the Disney Vacation club & this was the 1st trip to our "home resort". We have previously stayed at Old key West and Fort Wilderness Cabins. I can truly say it is the best investment we have made recently. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite that was fabulous!! The decor was charming, the master bathroom is to die for and Stromolong bay is one of the best resort pools around. My kids (boys 11&14) loved it. The location is great, you can walk to Epcot & MGM and you are directly across the bay from the Broadwalk with alot more restaurants. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant but we hit Beaches & Creams at least 4 nights for dessert. I think the only complaint I had was that the front desk was a little slow and we called room service for an extra towel set and they were also a bit slow
All and All a magical place that we would definitely stay at again.

John Smith, Trussville, AL, USAOverall very pleasant experience with what we have come to expect from a DVC villa.
One major downside was the WiFi and LAN internet access. Both services were a for fee service and ran $9.95 for 24 hours. I could not even access Disney site without incurring a charge regardless of what the literature and home page that opened up said. Most hotel chains (Hampton, LaQuinta, etc.) offer this service for free while this "Home Away From Home" resort charged a premium price. This would have been more acceptable at a value resort such as Pop Century or any of the All-Stars which are more comparable to the many Hampton and LaQuinta Inns that I have stayed but not at a resort touted for it ammenities. Hopefully this will improve before October when we stay at Wilderness Lodge Villas. If not for this issue I would give the resort a 4.
If not for Stormalong Bay I would definately choose Old Key West over this DVC. As is it's a toss up, I'll decide for sure after I stay at OKW again and the gauge the kids reaction to the new Sandcastle pool vs. our last time there. As is my son liked the Keister Coaster slide at Boardwalk almost as much. I'll probably stay here again but not until I try Saratoga and Boardwalk.

Brian, Rutherford, NJ, USAI was blown away by this resort... I had booked a studio villa for my visit from April 22-28th and was so excited about staying in a WDW Vacation Club Resort! I have stayed in most of the moderate and value resorts (with the exception of the All-Star Movies) and was looking forward to the Home-Away-From-Home style. My vacation experience began with a mistake at the front desk where I was given the wrong room. Imagine my surprise when I arrived into the guest room to find a beautiful 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen and spa-like bathroom insteand of the smaller studio I had booked. I called the front desk and told them of the mistake, however because it was so early in the morning (our flight didn't land until 2am) I was told to stay the night and go to the front desk later on in the morning after 8am. I did. And I was told by the Front Desk Cast Member that "mistakes happen" and "since this was our mistake you get to stay your entire vacation in this room at the studio rate". How cool!! My girlfriend and I kept pretending we were a rich couple instead of a couple of teachers who had scrimped and saved for this vacation. The restauants in this resort were great. I can't say enough about the seafood buffet in the lobby. Great food and great service. You also CANNOT miss the ice cream shop next to the pool area. They serve something called "The Kitchen Sink" which is essentially EVERY ice cream and EVERY topping served in a sink. It's worth it to order simply for the spectacle! The pool areas are awesome too. If you have kids, they'll love the main pool area with waterslides. My girlfriend and I loved the quiet pool outside of the villas. It was never crowded and was the perfect place to hang after a hot day in the parks. All in all; one of the best resorts I've ever stayed at in WDW.

Mark & Judy Greger, Blue Bell, PA, USAMy Wife and I visited Disney World for the 9th time in January and one again we had a great time. This time was just for us (25 wedding anniversary) , no kids and we had a ball. Stayed in the Beach Club Villas, went to all the parks , and just had a grand old time. Anthing we needed or couldnt find, all we had to do was ask and it was either found for us or they found out were we could get it. thanks once again Disney for a memorable vacation. As the saying goes "Been there, Done that, Going back again!"

Gail Dorfman, Sunrise, FL, USAThis is the second time I have stayed at the Beach Club Villas, and this is the second time I have encountered problem their.
The first time I stayed at the Villas they had just opened and due to construction problem our shower didn't work and there was a leak in our room.
The second trip that I stay there, our room smelled of throw up, there was no water pressure, the drain was clogged, the fan was broken, there was no blanket for the fold out bed, and the toilet paper roller was gone.
Both times guest services was excellent, but the resort needs to clean up it act fast before I ever stay there again.
