Azra N., Milton , Ontario, CanadaThe first time I went to WDW I went to Port Orleans, French Quarter. The scenery was lovely and the staff was so courteous. The slide was supposed to be a sea monster. I recommend this to everybody!

Wil B, Cary, NC, USAMyself and two of my friends stayed here in 2004. We loved it. Small and not overwhelming but as easy walk to Riverside which has more food offerings. We arrived at 9:30 am and got a room right away. Everyone was awesome to us during our whole stay. The staff that checked us in called me by name. Anytime we requested service we got it. I know that there may a bad experience every now and then at a Disney resort but I sure havent experienced one. Upon check out I accidently forgot to get my Card back. When I got to the airport I relaized this and called the resort. They wer so courteous and apologetic. The overnighted my card back to me in NC the same day. NOW thats service. The lady inthe gift shop was also very nice and helpful. This resort truly shows what Disney Service means in my opinion.

Traveler, St. Louis, Mo, USAWe have stayed at this resort many times with no problems but not this time! We arrived laater than we normally do and was very surprised at the rudeness of the staff. The first castmember was very sweeet her name was
Alyssa but the next one Mary was just plain RUDE! We then ask to speak with the "Manager." Well, he came out and didnt bother to introduce himself, call us by name, or even ask what our concerns were. He came out rolling his eyes at us! How unprofessional! Our daughter who is a former cast member was staying at another resort with some friends could not believe how much disrespect we were shown She said if she were to do that she would have been fired! She called a friend and much to my delight we left that resort and went to another. That manager called and apologized for the rudeness of the other resort's manager. He came by our room and introduced himself and asked if everything was ok? It was great! I didnt let the disrespect of the others ruin our trip. Sp please please do not go to this resort.

Magical Mountain Staff ReviewThe French Quarter, part of Disney?s Port Orleans Resort, is hands down the best moderate resort that Disney has to offer. This quaint little resort is reminiscent of Louisiana?s New Orleans Marti Gras. The theming is wonderful and done only the way that Disney can do it. The rooms are like any other moderate resort, and include a fan and a built in refrigerator with either two double beds or a king size bed. All the resort buildings are extremely close to the main building so you are able to get to the food court quickly for that morning cup of coffee. If you trying to decide between the different types of moderate resorts I would suggest that you try the French Quarter first. --
