Subject: Disney Land Question - advice needed

We have been going to Disney World for years and have normally stayed for 4-6 days, but decided to try Disneyland this year.  We've got two kids 13/11 who love rides.  How many days would you recommend we get for our park hoppers?  We originally thought 3 days, but a friend says both parks can each be one in a day so don't go longer than two.

Any advice you can give me is appreciated.
