The DisneyWorld website states that Body Wars and the rest of the rides in that pavillion will be opened seasonlly, I guess we will have to wait and see what seasonally means. My guess is if they used it for the Food and Wine Welcome center they will do the same for the Flower and Garden show.
According to the website Spaceship Earth will be reopen around Feb. 19 (they have it closed until the 18th)

Does Body Wars still exist? When I went there on my honeymoon in October of 2006 the Body Wars exhibit was on the map and I think there was a note saying it was open seasonally. When we went back in May this year it wasn't even listed on the map. If it is still around, which season is it open in? Clearly it isn't in Fall or early summer...can anybody tell me the last time they saw body wars open?

I remember it being open last December like between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. If I remember correctly, I believe that I heard somewhere that it was going to be shut down permanently, but im not 100% sure.

OK so can anyone explain how a brand new attraction can open in June 2008 and be closed for refurbishment in the same month, and for almost the whole month ??????????????????

I thought the same thing when I saw it on the WDW website. Perhaps they are enhancing stuff or perhaps that's on there so that people won't go there expecting it to be open when they've had to close it.

Backlot Tour is having the tour cast members removed and replaced with an automated guide.
I think this will be the final major update before they eventually ditch the ride in a few years.
Space Mountain is rumored to be going down for a year long refurb in 09 too which i think it really needs

We just got back Monday and SM is still closed. When you ride the People Mover, all the lights are on in SM and you can see track and the ceiling. They say it will open Winter 2009.
