What is the current per point price? (Various resorts) I want to add on but don't want to finance a large sum, so maybe 25 now and 25 next year..Would anyone recomend a dvc resale?

$112.00 is the current per point price. They had a promo for a 25 point add on that expired in January, so I don't know if you can still add on 25 points thru Disney, although that promo was for the Bay Lake Towers, and may not apply towards the other resorts. Also, you could try www.dvcbyresale.com for resales... but do the math when you factor in the closing costs vs. purchasing thru Disney... it still may be a better deal thru dvc by resale.
Also, be sure to ask Disney about any closing costs as well.

On the resale sight I saw some quality resorts as low as $85 per point.. Is the dvcbyresale a credible place to add on...

They are a very good company (also tight with Nathan). One thing... give them an offer; the price is an "asking" price, and thus you may be able to negociate a deal. i.e knock $10.00 off per point, and so on. "Deal" with them. Ask how long they have had the listing. Remember, some sellers really need to sell and may accept a lower bid.

dvcbyresale was a great place for us to add on. They were very helpful and made the transaction easy. If I had known Nathan was a friend of theirs I would have thrown his name out there. Ha! Ha!  Anyway, I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. Good luck!
