Just wanted to know why the Fantasmic show is only scheduled for certain days...? Anybody that can weigh in on this...it would be helpful. Thanks....

Most likely this was an attempt at cutting costs and managing people traffic. Either that or Mickey refuses to slay the dragon more than 3 x a week unless he gets a raise.
What nights is Fantasmic currently running?

It has something to do with an arrangement between Disney and American Idol. When American Idol went in at the Studios, they supposedly wanted to be the last attraction guests would do prior to park closing, thus affecting Fantasmic. Why Disney went along with this is beyond me, however, I'm sure they have their reasons. I'm hoping that public outcry will change this situation and return Fantasmic to a 7 night a week show.

Thank you all...I was looking the showtimes up and found that it only will play 3 x while I am at Disney World. I believe the showtimes are July 12, 14 and 16 and those days I have already planned out, so I will have to miss the show! I wanted to see it and I guess if I REALLY want to see it, I will have to rearrange my schedule a little bit. I do hope that they go back to the 7 night show schedule though...I heard that it is a popular show..

This show is a must see show- I still can't believe they are not playing it every night.

Wow...that's insane. So American Idol wants their attraction to be the last guests see...well I can tell you I don't like the show and would NEVER see the attraction. So because of them, a show I do enjoy is only on a few nights a week? That's messed up.
On top of that, both times I saw Fantasmic (when it played every night and sometimes twice a day) it had a HUGE crowd! I can't imagine how insane that crowd must be now. I hope this has been changed or will be changed soon...

I'm pretty sure I'll never visit the American Idol attraction...but I will NEVER pass up a chance to see Fantasmic. This change is just lame.
