Universal Studios Florida
This working motion picture studio is full of back lot locations to allow guests to experience what it is like is to be in movies and T.V. This park is comprised of 6 areas: Production Central, New York, Hollywood, World Expo, San Francisco/Amity, and Woody Woodpecker's Kid Zone.
Production Central
Here in Production Central, you can experience live a movie and a television production. Be sure to check out the Shrek 4-D and Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast attractions.
Shrek 4-D offers guests an extrasensory experience with your friends from the Shrek movies. The characters take off on a honeymoon adventure and you are there to share all the sights, sounds and smells along the way. You can even feel things going on right in your own seat!
In Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast, you try to get Jimmy's newest creation, The Mark IV, back from the evil Ooblar.
New York
This classic New York backdrop includes backdrops from modern Manhattan to an 1920s alleyway. Here in New York resides Revenge of The Mummy the Ride, Twister...Ride it Out, and the stage show, The Blues Brothers.
In Revenge of The Mummy the Ride, you are chased by the infamous mummy through ancient caverns as you come across many obstacles, such as scarab beetles and fireballs.
Experience the wrath of Mother Nature in Twister...Ride it Out. You get to experience how it feels to be in the eye of a tornado and witness the destruction that can be caused during an F-5 tornado.
On the lighter side, you can head on over to Delancey Street to check out The Blues Brothers Show starring Jake and Elwood.
Hollywood
Hooray for Hollywood! Here in Hollywood, dreams come true. The streets are lined with stars and some great attractions.
Terminator 2: 3D is a mix of live action stunts as well as special effects. You join the battle against the cyborgs to prevent them from destroying mankind; you get behind the scenes secrets of makeup and special effect artists in the Universal Horror Makeup Show. Before the show, be sure to check out props and set pieces from the Universal film, Van Helsing.
Take in some light-hearted comedy as you stroll through a tribute to Queen of Comedy, Lucille Ball. In Lucy - A Tribute, you get to see costumes, scripts, classic episodes of her series and rare home videos.
Upon entering The 1964 World's Fair Exhibit, you will see that its just a cover for something much more interesting... its where you will embark on your journey to save the Earth on the Men in Black Alien Attack ride. In this super interactive ride, you go on a training mission and blast away aliens.
After you save the world, you can head over to The Simpsons Ride. This simulator ride will carry you on a journey through Krustyland.
San Francisco / Amity
This area is home to two of the park's most popular attractions.
The quaint New England fishing village of Amity houses a dark secret. Take the boat tour on the Jaws ride, and you will discover just how much damage a great white shark can do.
Disaster, housed in the San Francisco area, lets visitors experience a violent earthquake that registers 8.3 on the Richter Scale.
For all you daredevils out there, head on over to the Fear Factor Live Stage Show. Volunteers are taken for most extreme audience participation show around. For a ghoulishly good time, the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue features everyone's favorite ghost along with Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein and Bride of Frankenstein to perform a devilishly delightful rock show.
Woody Woodpecker's KidZone
This cartoon filled play area is a favorite among the little kids. The first stop should be the E.T. Adventure ride. This is a must ride for all ages! Hop aboard your bike with E.T. as he navigates you to his home planet, where he needs your help to keep his planet from dying!
Next, take in a stage show at the Animal Actors on Location. See live performances and stunts from some of Universal's furry friends. Another show for the whole family is A Day in the Park with Barney. This is a fun, live sing a long and dance a long show that's great for the little ones!
Kids will also get a kick out of Fivel's Playground, where you can see what it like to be a mouse with giant oversized props. For those who seek a bit more adventure hop on to Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster. This zany ride will take you in and out of Woody's own nut factory, so hold on to your seats!
