It's Southern mansions and bayou accommodations line a picturesque, Mississippi-style waterway. There are six pools, with a water slide in the feature pool. This Moderate Resort offers one full-service restaurant, plus other dining options.

Port Orleans Bayou Adventure Pirate Cruise
Children ages 4 - 10 can join Port Orleans Castmembers in learning about Pirate Capt. Jon Lafitte, the greatest Pirate Captain of New Orleans. Their adventure begins by boarding their pirate vessesl, with pirate bandannas on their heads! The pirates sail the waters of New Orleans following a treasure map that will lead them to the ulitmate Pirate treasure. For information call (407-939-7529).
Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort Carriage Ride
A relaxing and cozy 25-minute carriage ride through Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort.
- $35.00 for 25 minutes (includes tax)
- Tickets are sold by the carriage drivers
- Cash and Disney Resort guest room charge only. No credit cards are accepted
- Large carriage holds 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 small children.
- Reservations nightly (weather permitting)
- Begins at 6:00 pm with the last ride departing at 9:30pm
- Departs from in front of the Boatwright's Dining Hall
- Beverages are permitted
Advance reservations can be made up to 90 days ahead by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. A $35 fee for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will apply.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort, Riverside Hidden Mickeys
- In the latticework in the check-in area.
- On the ceiling fans in the lobby there is a hidden Mickey.
- In the food court, when you get inside there is a statue of an Indian and he has Hidden Mickey's on his moccasins.
- In the Port Orleans logo there are seven hidden Mickeys in the design.

Missi Baucom, Tullahoma, TN, USAWe chose Port Orleans Riverside during our stay over the holidays in December of 2007. It was absolutely beauitful. The decorations were so pretty, we would just walk around the resort looking at them. The resort grounds were so peaceful, really a haven. After long lines at the bustling parks, it was such a welcome relief to come back to the quiet lawns, splashing fountains and walks by the river. The whole family agrees its our favorite resort. Our whole experience there was just great, even the check-in process went witout a hitch and we got in quickly and hours ahead of the normal check-in time. Would highly recommend this resort!

Tuning Family, Los Alamos, NM, USAI cannot say enough good things about the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. It was magical from the moment we arrived. The young lady who checked us in drew mouse ears on our welcome packet and was very helpful with all of our questions even though we checked in after ten o' clock in the evening.
Our room was spotless and housekeeping left mickey mouse animals made of towels, stickers, and pins in our room each day with an abundance of soaps, shampoo, and fresh towels. Everywhere we went people greeted us with a smile and a "hello little prince" to our 6 month old son. The meals in the food court were everything we expected from Disney. Our family enjoyed the Mickey Mouse waffles and the Pizza/Pasta bar. Transportation to the parks and Downtown Disney was timely and the buses were clean. We really enjoyed the boat ride to Downtown Disney in the evening. It was very romantic. The entire property was romantic for that matter. Lush landscaping, adorable gazebos, and eloquently appointed mansions decorated the resort. We stayed in the mansion section and found it more than comfortable. There is a lot of walking but we found it to be pleasant especially with the beautiful landscape. The pools were really great to relax in after a long day at the parks. The quiet pool by our hotel room was fantastic. We could see fireworks during the evening as we took a stroll by the river. I would advise anyone taking a vacation to Walt Disney World to stay at this property. We will definitely be staying there again.

Kevin Church, New York, NY, USA My family and I have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside for about 4 times now. We love it. The food court is great,the pool area was private, peaceful, and clean. We are planning to stay here again on our next disney trip.
