• There is a five legged goat drawn on the mural in the lobby of the Contemporary Resort. If you up the escalator for the Monorail look at the side of the mural that faces you. About half way up your will see the picture of the goat.
• In case of a hurricane the Contemporary Resort can fit 4 monorails inside and close storm it's doors.

• In the mural on the wall of the monorail loading area there is a brown bear wearing black mouse ears.
• In front of the main entrance of the South Garden Wing, there is a brick walkway. At the end opposite to the doors is a pattern of a different shade of brick with an outline in the shape of Mickey.
• Parking lot-floral arrangement of a Mickey Mouse watch. Best to see from way up high.

Ok, so my family decided to go to the Contemporary for our trip to Disney. After seeing this hotel come up on Unwrapped, we knew we had to go there. If you are ever planning a trip to Disney- GO HERE! This is the best choice ever! You will love this hotel, especially if you have little kids, because of Chef Mickeys, the pool, and the fact that no guest is ever treated poorly! And the chocolate they put on the pillows at night is great :)

Although we only stayed here one night (stayed the rest of the week at Old Key West) it was a most magical experience! First of all, we were upgraded from a rear wing room to a tower room! The boys (10, 8 & 4) slept in their beds with a view of the "Kiss Goodnight" - Cinderella's Castle changes colors - all night!! Unfortunately we were not there for the fireworks "Wishes", but it was still magical. We were also able to see the Electrical Water Pageant from our balcony. We couldn't hear it, but it looked beautiful. We had driven through the night from PA (17 hour trip), checked in at 10, spent a few hours at the nice quiet pool (the boys loved the slide), walked to Magic Kingdom for a few hours, came back to have a wonderful dinner at Chef Mickeys, the boys attended the Pin Trading at the Contemporary. It was nice to have everything right at our fingertips!! We enjoyed it sooo much that we plan on making it a new family tradition (really nice that they can accommodate up to 5 guests/room). We are planning on the Contemporary our first night in October (same agenda) before heading to Old Key West the next day. We are even hoping to get a PS for Cinderella's our first morning & just hop on the monorail to go there!! [:)] Deb
