| Disney's Magical Express! We used Disney's Magical Express for the first time. Prior to our trip, Disney mailed us a packet containing information concerning the Magical Express, along with travel vouchers, and luggage tags. Note that when reserving this service, we advised them as to how many guest were in our party, thus receiving the appropriate amount of luggage tags. Upon arrival at Orlando Airport, we proceeded to the ground transportation area as directed. Once there, we showed our voucher to waiting castmembers, then got into a line that was designated for our resort. Within a few minutes, we were boarding our bus. Note that on busy days, the bus may be a yellow "Mears" bus as opposed to the "Disney Magical Express" bus. We had a yellow bus going to WDW, and a M.E. bus going back. Other than the color, there were no real differences. The driver was very courteous, and offered to put our carry-on baggage in the cargo hold of the bus. Once aboard, we were shown a short video during our 30 minute trip to WDW. Once at the resort, we retrieved our carry-on bags, and checked in. The night before check out, we received our pick-up time for the next day. Note that they schedule the pick-up time 3 hours ahead of your flight time, assuring plenty of time to get to the airport. All in all, this proved to be a great service! While we did miss having a car at times, Disney's Magical Express proved to be efficient, and cost effective (free)! |
